The Huffer

Have you heard of the Huffer? He's almost as popular here as Brad Paisley. Well, he got arrested again yesterday for huffing paint. I think this was the 5th time. He got a good deal of publicity when he got arrested in the Dollar General with gold paint all over his face. He had gone in to buy more paint, the clerk was suspicious and called the police. He denied that he was using the paint for huffing.....I guess he never looked in a mirror. He still had the paint on his face in his mugshot. I really can't figure out why he just can't go out, buy the paint and stay home to huff it. Think he's killed a few too many brain cells??

Alone

I can't remember the last time I had more than a couple hours to myself. The girls left yesterday, and the boys left this evening. It'll be just me and the pets until Sunday night. So what will I do? Tonight I had dinner and cleaned up the kitchen......I love knowing that when I get up in the morning it'll still be clean! I stopped at Walmart for some stuff and picked up the Enquirer and Cosmo, that should entertain me for a while, LOL.

I'm watching Jamboree In The Hills right now, I'm not a country music fan......which is a sin in my small town (home of Brad Paisley), but Jambo is like a car wreck, you can't help but watch. It started yesterday with the "Running of the Rednecks". People wait in line all night, and then they run out on the lawn and claim their spot. Jambo fashion is another thing I enjoy. Flannel shirts with sleeves cut off, wife beaters, camo, and many, many bikini tops and cutoffs. It doesn't matter if you weigh 100 pounds or 250 pounds, you wear a bikini top and cutoff shorts. Plus everyone tops their outfit off with a cowboy hat.

Vacation

So, my girls just left for a little vacation with Nana. They'll be back sometime next week. Tomorrow Dh and son and going camping and fishing. So that means I'll be home ALONE for the whole weekend. Wonder what kind of trouble I can get myself into??

My future son in law just got a raise! I realize he's 8 years older than my daugher, but that's not a big deal. Right??

My laptop is fixed! Thankfully I didn't lose all my pictures, and I have everything backed up now....Friday the 13th is on the way! I would have been really sad to lose pictures like this one.

WICKED!!

I took my daughters to see Wicked this weekend. They loved it! They've been counting down the days for months, and I was glad it was a great as they thought it would be. I had seen it about a year ago in Chicago and it was just as good the second time. The girls want to be Elpheba and Galinda for Halloween now. I won't start working on costumes though, because they always change their mind.

Laptop

My laptop is fucked. I almost cried about it, but I'm being strong. I didn't realized how much I relied on it until it broke. From reading blogs, paying bills, finding recipes, etc....my day revolves around my laptop. Is that as pathetic as it sounds?
